If You Could Get More Clients While You Sleep,
Would You Think it was Hype?
I usually talk alot about marketing tips etc
in my M.E.N. newsletter which goes out every
Tuesday, rain or shine, but today I got up, and
felt like I should enter something here since
it's FRIDAY.
If you read the headline and I'm sure you did,
you know that getting patients while you sleep,
definitely sounds too good to be true.
But it’s not, when you set up a marketing system
that works for you 24 hours a day seven days a week.
In this blog post I’m not TRYING to sell you
anything. Nor am I going to convince you to
create videos. Rather, I’m going to educate you
about the benefits of creating video to educate
your potential clients. Once you recognize the true
benefits of creating an ongoing series of videos
you will soon realize that the title of this article
is true.
If you create educational and informational video you
will clearly do something that 98% of other chiropractors
are not doing today on the Internet.
You already know that I am a big proponent of creating
useful information for potential clients who are looking
for an doctor online.
You cannot ignore the power of the Internet or search
engines when you market your services. If you learn
how to harness those tools to use them to your benefit,
you will greatly improve your marketing success rate.
If I buy an electronic item like a camera or new
TV I really want to hear from other people what
they thought of this particular product.
It gives me an unbiased opinion (hopefully) of
somebody who has used the product and that will
help me decide whether or not to make a purchase.
If I am looking for an attorney online to help
solve my legal problem, I want to know who it is
that I might actually be calling.
I have lots of questions about who is behind a
particular law firm. I don’t want to look at a photo
of an office building; I don’t want to speak to a
receptionist; I want to speak to somebody who can
answer questions about my legal issues.
Sames true if your patient is looking for a doctor.
What better way than to use video to allow a
viewer to see you, hear you and get to know you,
and importantly begin to trust you before they
ever pick up the phone to call?
When someone who has watched my videos picks
up the phone to call me, they already know
who I am. They know how I talk, they know
what I look like, they know how I present
my information to them and they obviously
like what I have to say because they’re calling
to get additional information. I have already
formed a bond with them. They trust me and I don’t
have to sell them on anything. They raised their
hands to ask for more information and to start a
conversation.
If you can start a conversation with someone
before they ever call you, you have saved yourself
countless amounts of time and energy.
If you talk to everyone who cold calls you,
you must convince them that you are credible
and have the expertise to take on a case like theirs
just from your voice on the other end of the phone.
Video allows me the freedom to concentrate on
cases I am currently working on, and frees me
from the constant need to explain myself to a
potential patient repeatedly.
Here’s an even better tip:
I created a video titled “who is my ideal client?”
Why did I do this?
To screen out people who are not my ideal client.
I want to be able to select those people who
need a chiropractor. By creating this video
viewers can watch and see for themselves whether
they fit the criteria that qualifies them to be
an “ideal patient” here in my office.
If they’ve gotten through that video and still
feel that they are an ideal patient, I welcome them
with open arms.
So why am I telling you all this?
Because creating chiropractic videos will change
the way you practice, or run a business and it
will change your life.
