How To You Capture Someone's Attention?

Hey,

I'm up early, well at least early to me, since I'm in California, and I was checking my emails. Well I'm always looking at how someone can capture my attention, then keep it. I know that with the way the world is wired today, most people have an attention span of a small insect.

I don't mean that to be derogatory, I am just telling you with the pace that the world is moving today, you have to do something very special to capture some one's attention.



Then the trick is to keep that attention. Well I received an email today, it had a great headline, one that grabbed my attention, so I opened it. When I open an email you have about 4 seconds to capture my attention or I either close the email and tell myself I'll come back to it later, or... I will delete as junk email.

So...

That's what happens to you when you're marketing to other people. You have this short little time that you can actually GRAB their attention.

If you understand this little concept, you'll start to learn how to do this day in and day out. It's a great secret that only a few special people really understand. Every time I come across it I'm amazed that I don't use it more in my marketing. I catch on slowly, but I catch on.
