I don't know about you, but there are a lot of things that go through my head, each and every day. Sometimes I'm thinking about patients, sometimes I'm thinking about making money, other times I'm just thinking about life.
I was doing some surfing like I said in another post and I ran across this dry cleaner. He apparently had just purchased a business from another marketer, but it didn't matter.
His stuff was good. I was totally impressed. But here's the reason I'm posting this entry. He taught me something I never thought about. How about giving my patients and friends, daily quotes. I don't know if I can just give them a quote, but I'm going to do it today and find out what happens.
Here's the quotes for week.
QUOTES for Your WEEK
Don't let obstacles stand in your way; learn to view failures as an opportunity to find out what works and what doesn't work; develop the inner attitude of patience, persistence, and perseverance; and, defeat your own procrastination through action not dreaming.
Persistence prevails when all else fails.
Success never resides in the world of weak wishes, but in the palace of purposeful plans and prayerful persistence.
William Arthur Ward
Whoever said anybody has a right to give up?
Marian Wright Edelman
Ask yourself if you have been defeated by your own lack of persistence without realizing it. Step back and take a hard look at how persistent you have really been.
Catherine Pulsifer
No great achievement is possible without persistent work.
Bertrand Russell
There you have it. That didn't take long on my part and it could actually help someone who reads this blog.
I find it kind of interesting. Blogging is like being on Facebook to me, except in a much better way. I think Facebook is okay, and people love to connect in a strange way there, but I'm more into writing about what's going on internally with me and my thoughts, so people that read this blog will find out more about me and how I function in this world on a daily basis.
I used to not write much. One of the reasons was simple. I wasn't being prompted by anyone, and with my background, I needed to be told what to do, as I would forget. But now I'm finding it easier and easier to blog because I am starting to remember my password, and it's now becoming a FUN activity in my life.
I consider it more of a diary or a journal entry. It's there for all to see, but yet, it's coded with little things that mean a lot to me and about me.
I think it's a great way to share yourself with the world and if someone actually reads this, they're going to know alot about the person doing the blogging.
THANKS for reading this.
Your friend,
Dr. Carney
